ICAM Investigator builds on the fundamentals and prepares participants to actively conduct and support workplace investigations. Through a blend of theory and applied learning, participants deepen their understanding of incident causation, the ICAM methodology, and the skills required to contribute effectively as investigation team member.
The course emphasises structured evidence gathering, logical analysis, and the development of credible, defensible findings that focus on system improvement rather than blame.
Participants gain practical investigation capabilities, including investigation planning, analysis of evidence, contributing factor identification, and the formulation of effective recommendations. By the end of the course, participants are equipped to lead low-level investigations and play a strong role in more complex investigations.
